NEW Outlook app: how to add an IMAP account with user name different from email address?

The advanced configuration will allow me to specify an SMTP user name but there is no way to configure the IMAP user name being different from the email-address.

    I really hate Microsoft.

    1. Force me to new outlook by disable the old Mail.
    2. using email as username , not let people configure .

    The outsouce all the software work and they force shitware on us.

    I have the same problem, because in a new office installation there's only the new outlook in the package. I have several email addresses on a web-server, the login doesn't work with the emailadress, the username field for IMAP and SMTP is necessary to make new outlook usable.
