How do I enable copy and paste in the new outlook?

I am not able to directly copy any documents from Explorer and then go to the email that I am working on to paste onto the emial. Before with the Old Outlook I was able to to do this easily but the New Outlook requires me to go to the "paper clip" Icon above then search thru the Explorer to find the file then the specific documents(which couple be hundred documents); this process takes sometime 5 miniuets to find the exact document to copy and paste. I need to do it the Old Outlook ways or "Classic" format so that I can do just the cut and paste as mentioned earlier of this email. Pleas advise ASAP thanks.

I think you're quite clever to figure that out. Those of us who have only basic computer skills certainly won't try it, of course. No Microsoft person or FAQ has been able to explain why on earth the change was made (to disallow copy and paste).

Oh dear. I saw that method here and tried it just now and it worked. Do you mean that it might work for a while and then not????!!!

I'm sick to death of Microsoft fixing things which are not broken. In order to move things, I downloaded an extension called "Capture It". It's free and easy. Just copy from one place and paste into another. Try it.

Being forced to work without copy+paste, neither as shortcut, nor as right-button-option frustrates me every day, both for calendar and email. Of all my collegues I know excactly no one who says that the new outlook is an improvment in this case.

Is it not possible to change this ASAP?

    Regards,

There is a very simple solution. Unless you have deinstalled Outlook Classic, it will still be there. It mirrors all the messaging of the new Outlook, so you can switch with no issues. To find go to the Start menu and type "Outlook" in the search bar, or go down the list of installed apps and it should appear there as "Outlook Classic". Open it and all the usual functionally remains.

    Hope that helps
