How do I enable copy and paste in the new outlook?

I am not able to directly copy any documents from Explorer and then go to the email that I am working on to paste onto the emial. Before with the Old Outlook I was able to to do this easily but the New Outlook requires me to go to the "paper clip" Icon above then search thru the Explorer to find the file then the specific documents(which couple be hundred documents); this process takes sometime 5 miniuets to find the exact document to copy and paste. I need to do it the Old Outlook ways or "Classic" format so that I can do just the cut and paste as mentioned earlier of this email. Pleas advise ASAP thanks.

David, I know you can only reply with the "party line", but I agree that this is a major setback. This forces me to move my activity to another email provider. My Outlook account will now become just a spam collector. I understand this may be responding to some security vulnerability, but the cut-and-paste feature is so fundamental to email that it handicaps outlook for a large percentage of users. If there's a vulnerability to cut-and-paste I would think Microsoft would be finding a way to patch the issue rather than take the easy way out by removing the feature altogether.

It is completely UNACCEPTABLE to not have the copy paste with original formatting. I will NOT attach a file because NO ONE will read it! It is also ludicrous that I need to switch from the new outlook to the old outlook every time I need to do this. What happens when the old outlook is completely fazed out? Microsoft, PLEASE fix this!!!!

The updated OUTLOOK has set back this email program by several years by screwing up the simple "Copy & Paste" function. Time to use another email platform....Big Time Blunder!!!

I agree 100 percent. I wish they would leave things alone. The threads on the new outlook are hard to follow and information gets lost. As far as i can see totally useless. I no longer use it. I use AOL or Gmail without it going into Outlook. I hate it completely.
