How do I enable copy and paste in the new outlook?

I am not able to directly copy any documents from Explorer and then go to the email that I am working on to paste onto the emial. Before with the Old Outlook I was able to to do this easily but the New Outlook requires me to go to the "paper clip" Icon above then search thru the Explorer to find the file then the specific documents(which couple be hundred documents); this process takes sometime 5 miniuets to find the exact document to copy and paste. I need to do it the Old Outlook ways or "Classic" format so that I can do just the cut and paste as mentioned earlier of this email. Pleas advise ASAP thanks.

A Microsoft Associate worked with me earlier and provided a path to install Classic Outlook (mysteriously deleted from my computer when the New Outlook was automatically installed) now Outlook is back to normal. The new Outlook is total junk and the programmers should be in a position of asking if you would like fries with your order. I love the Classic Outlook that can be accessed without the internet connection (possibly the reason for the New Outlook) to can read or copy previous emails with the drag and drop or copy paste options. Awesome again.

Don I was having the same problem and when I sent Outlook a note asking why I can't copy and paste like the old Outlook they told me to do this. and it worked. So here is what I did.

In the new Outlook Mail top of the page Navigate to Settings (the small gear) then > General > Privacy and Data> Privacy Settings then Enable (turn ON) Connected Experience.

    Hope this helps.

Hallelujah! Finally, something that actually works although it's been like pulling teeth to get this information. Why couldn't Microsoft just leave well enough alone in the first place?
