How do I enable copy and paste in the new outlook? I am not able to directly copy any documents from Explorer and then go to the email that I am working on to paste onto the emial.

Being forced to work without copy+paste, neither as shortcut, nor as right-button-option frustrates me every day, both for calendar and email. Of all my collegues I know excactly no one who says that the new outlook is an improvment in this case.

Is it not possible to change this ASAP?

Agree a 1000 percent. To remove cut and paste is ridiculous.

Every time Microsoft improves something, it gets worse!

I am so disappointed. I can't believe that the great and powerful Microsoft, the 800-pound gorilla in the room, has taken classic outlook and botched it up so badly with this new outlook. So many things don't work properly.

I am having the same problem because I build tables to quote customers pricing in Word and then try to copy/paste it to an email. The rows expand to three times the original size and the and there's nothing I can do about it.

And designing and building templates? forget about it. If you need to embed graphics into the email like a line card or price list, you simply can't do it. The 'my templates' app

gives you a tiny little space to put your content in. You should be able to open an email, set it up as if you were using a page layout program and then simply save it as a template.

I pay yearly for Microsoft 365, And this is really sad. I'm sure they thought they road tested this to make sure everything was cool, but they should have spent a little more time seeing if people would be happy with it the way it is.

I agree with all that long for the copy and paste function. I hate upgrades as they kill my time and generally, I can't find anything for days if not longer Than you find out that certain things like copy/cut and paste no longer are available. Why update if you take useful things away? I can attach but it takes longer in many situations rather than the copy & paste. Right now, my work around rig job is I have the old Outlook 10 still pinned to my lower task bar which shows the old classic version. It seems to have some 365 upgrades but retains all the things the new one does not have. In fact, when you open it. There is a little label that says 365. It has a toggle in the upper right to switch to the new version if you want. My upper task bar has the new 365 Outlook. So, I now have two Outlooks open. I don't like having them both open but when I need cut and paste, I go to it. It would still be easier to have only one open but for now this is what I do. So, you could use the old version and switch over to the old version to copy and paste. but it's still more steps. I have to slowly train my mind to do all this extra stuff every time mighty MSFT changes things. I would not have upgraded other than it was my company's idea to go to the cloud. My personal computer still has outlook 10.
