How do I enable copy and paste in the new outlook?

I am not able to directly copy any documents from Explorer and then go to the email that I am working on to paste onto the emial. Before with the Old Outlook I was able to to do this easily but the New Outlook requires me to go to the "paper clip" Icon above then search thru the Explorer to find the file then the specific documents(which couple be hundred documents); this process takes sometime 5 miniuets to find the exact document to copy and paste. I need to do it the Old Outlook ways or "Classic" format so that I can do just the cut and paste as mentioned earlier of this email. Pleas advise ASAP thanks.

David, Yes, your answer is positively accepted and I will try using the older version. For that I thank you. I do not regret sharing my opinion on the New outlook app., it remains a big mistake.

AMen. What was Microsoft thinking? The features they have lost from the old Outlook far outweigh what the new one offers. And why would any "update" remove features that are universally appreciated? This is just bad product development!!!

    SOLUTION!!!!!!!!!

Go go the New Outlook and create a new email. Switch to HTML from Plain Text to be able to paste any picture, If you have it PLAIN TEXT IT WONT let you copy and paste.

The first time you switch it it as you to accept the following" If you switch to Plain text, all formatting and online images in this message will be removed. Do you want to continue" .

You can switch back and fort if needed. Remember is you accept the change it will replicate to all.

Don Huang1 has hit the nail on the head. Progress is supposed to be positive, to help people by making life easier, quicker and/or cheaper, NOT to overcomplicate things as Microsoft Updates frequently does. Life was so much easier with the old Outlook. Plus, I can't understand WHY I'm having to clean MS Edge on CCleaner when I don't use Edge - it's a bloody nuisance! I didn't ask for it, I don't use it and don't want it. Windows 7 was the last good MS product, which I really knew my way around and often advised others on. More often than not MS Updates cause more problems than they solve.
