How do I enable copy and paste in the new outlook?

I am not able to directly copy any documents from Explorer and then go to the email that I am working on to paste onto the emial. Before with the Old Outlook I was able to to do this easily but the New Outlook requires me to go to the "paper clip" Icon above then search thru the Explorer to find the file then the specific documents(which couple be hundred documents); this process takes sometime 5 miniuets to find the exact document to copy and paste. I need to do it the Old Outlook ways or "Classic" format so that I can do just the cut and paste as mentioned earlier of this email. Pleas advise ASAP thanks.

Like you, I've been with Microsoft since the early 90's. Like you, I'm befuddled with all these nonsense changes. Every day I have to go through my junk mail to see what Microsoft has unilaterally decided to move from my inbox. Like you, I can't simply paste anything into an email. That additional "read" step in the prior download which made the email content into an unreadably small font was ridiculous. And once upon a time I could find a 'sent' email by their name or subject. No longer available. Now I have to wonder when I sent it or how I titled it and scroll through all of them to find it. I'm getting pretty disgusted with this whole lot and, as you say, it's not the only game in town.

The problem has not been fixed and the "new" method is cumbersome and pretty worthless. I suggest everyone discontinue Microsoft and go to another system if they do not change it soon. This is crazy. Who thought up this worthless feature that is nothing but trouble. Jeff Burgess (I've used Microsoft software since 1993 and have been happy until now).

    Hello,

I agree with others that the cut and paste change is a huge mistake. Does anyone know of a different email software package that can be used? I am ready to switch!

You would copy whatever you need in explorer, and then go to outlook and hit the copy icon at the top of the page... See Attached Screenshot and the icon is circled in RED.

    enshot...
