How do I enable copy and paste in the new outlook?

I am not able to directly copy any documents from Explorer and then go to the email that I am working on to paste onto the emial. Before with the Old Outlook I was able to to do this easily but the New Outlook requires me to go to the "paper clip" Icon above then search thru the Explorer to find the file then the specific documents(which couple be hundred documents); this process takes sometime 5 miniuets to find the exact document to copy and paste. I need to do it the Old Outlook ways or "Classic" format so that I can do just the cut and paste as mentioned earlier of this email. Pleas advise ASAP thanks.

WHAT THE HELL!! JUST PUT BACK THE COPY AND PASTE BUTTONS ALREADY@!@@@ They are more important than 90% of all that other stuff you insist on having on the screen.

I had to give up classic outlook. I was forced to... suddenly page formatting stopped working altogether, the cursor would start in the middle of the page with the wrong font, and there was no way I could put it back to the left side. I didn't realize how the basic function of my email program had become such an integral part of my operation.

Good luck. I think tech slows us down as much as it helps. Tonight at 9pm I am on with PC support with India. LOL Here I go with chatting via email back and forth. I am so excited to burn more of my time...... They should improve and not take well know functions away with upgrades, But MSFT has to keep selling stuff even when in many ways it's not needed for majority of users.

Never mind documents. I cannot seem to be able to copy & paste plain text from (for example) notepad++ into an email without wrestling with the Copilot doohickey. Ctrl-V doesn't consistently work. Right-clicking to get a context menu to paste takes several tries. This has been basic Windows behavior going back to Windows 95 at least. Select something, Ctrl-X or Ctrl-C and then Ctrl-V. I can do it in my sleep. Why is it so hard now?

And whoever said DEI is to blame can go jump in a lake.
