How do I enable copy and paste in the new outlook? I am not able to directly copy any documents from Explorer and then go to the email that I am working on to paste onto the emial.

How do I enable copy and paste in the new outlook?

I am not able to directly copy any documents from Explorer and then go to the email that I am working on to paste onto the emial. Before with the Old Outlook I was able to to do this easily but the New Outlook requires me to go to the "paper clip" Icon above then search thru the Explorer to find the file then the specific documents(which couple be hundred documents); this process takes sometime 5 miniuets to find the exact document to copy and paste. I need to do it the Old Outlook ways or "Classic" format so that I can do just the cut and paste as mentioned earlier of this email. Pleas advise ASAP thanks.

    Control + V will allow you to paste as before.

    Right click, copy, Control + V.

    I think I am just repeating what others have said here: does this mean we can not "copy and paste" URL sites into link in Outlook?? I am literally having to type it in! This is a total waste of time and the URL link can be many many characters...I am likely to miss something. I've been able to inset the link (like a picture), but it makes the e mail message look totally messy!! Why can't we highlight a word and past a URL link to it?? This is fundamental stuff to me. The way I have to do it now in the "new" Outlook makes it look like an e mail from 1990s. There has to be a way to "paste" a URL address and link it to just a word in your e mail.

    I tried the "copy then CTRL+ V still doesn't work! Maybe is best to change to Apple, then Microsoft might wake up!

    The easiest way to paste is to copy as normal, then "CONTROL+V" to paste.

    I just got that to work in an email.

    After many months New Outlook still does not permit simple copy and paste. Attaching something you have open and worked on or finding and sending a copy of an email address are simple repetitive tasks that were easy in Outlook. I don't understand what the advantage is in the New Outlook that requires many extra steps to do a simple task that I did multiple times each day. I have gone back to "Classic Outlook" which in this case means "one that works."
