How do I enable copy and paste in the new outlook?

I am not able to directly copy any documents from Explorer and then go to the email that I am working on to paste onto the emial. Before with the Old Outlook I was able to to do this easily but the New Outlook requires me to go to the "paper clip" Icon above then search thru the Explorer to find the file then the specific documents(which couple be hundred documents); this process takes sometime 5 miniuets to find the exact document to copy and paste. I need to do it the Old Outlook ways or "Classic" format so that I can do just the cut and paste as mentioned earlier of this email. Pleas advise ASAP thanks.

The new outlook is trash and they need to make it work as easy as it use to be. I am so disappointed in Microsoft to let this come out. I hope everyone stops using it so Microsoft will do something to fix it. If people stop using their service they will do something to fix it.

You may be trying to be helpful, but this is not at all helpful. I don't want New Outlook, I don't want Edge and I don't want all this over-complicated nonsense wasting my time, when it was previously so easy. Progress is supposed to make life easier, simpler, quicker, whereas Microsoft engineers think, "How can we make life more difficult for customers?"

I agree 100 percent. I wish they would leave things alone. The threads on the new outlook are hard to follow and information gets lost. As far as i can see totally useless. I no longer use it. I use AOL or Gmail without it going into Outlook. I hate it completely.

It is completely UNACCEPTABLE to not have the copy paste with original formatting. I will NOT attach a file because NO ONE will read it! It is also ludicrous that I need to switch from the new outlook to the old outlook every time I need to do this. What happens when the old outlook is completely fazed out? Microsoft, PLEASE fix this!!!!
