how do I add a note to an email using outlook

To add a note to an email in Outlook, you can use the Notes feature. Please note that this feature may not be available in older versions. Here are the steps:

1. Open the email you want to add a note to.
2. Click on the "Notes" button in the ribbon at the top of the screen.
3. A new note window will open. Type your note in the body of the note.
4. Click "Save & Close" to save the note.

Hello, I am using Microsoft Office 365. I thought I was using a new vision of outlook. That note feature is not there.

Thanks for getting back.

The Notes feature on Outlook is available with Microsoft 365 versions. On your Outlook app, you should be able to use this feature.

To further isolate the problem, I recommend checking for your Office updates. In that way you can get the latest updates for your Office applications. Install Office updates - Microsoft Support

Hi,

In what Outlook versions is this feature "Notes" button in the ribbon available?

I am using the latest "new Outlook for Windows" and Microsoft 365 apps for enterprise and it is not available there... Will it be?
