    Was this ever resolved? To clarify:

    • Outlook365
    • Need to add a note to an email OR to a contact
    • Need the note to remain confidential to me and/or to my assistant. Not to anyone else OR the person who I am communicating with.
    • It is not on the ribbon bar.

    Hi y'all! Sorry I am late to this party, but I just figured it out!

    1. Double-click the message you are wanting to add a note to, in order to have it pop out into its own window.
    2. Click the 3 dots at the end of your Ribbon at the top of the window.
    3. Hover over "Actions" in the drop-down.
    4. Select "Edit Message".
    5. Be sure to save the message after adding your note.

    P.S. I tried adding a screenshot, but it kept failing.

    Why you NEVER put print screens on your answers? 90% of the help here refers to features that don't exist in my own outlook-office.

    I am also searching for the "Notes" button and am unable to find it. This would be such a great tool!
