New Outlook Layout - How do I add more columns (Size of Mail) to the inbox?

I am now using Outlook for Mac, version 16.79.3 (23120117) and am extremely surprised by the new layout, which is missing various information / settings.

For example, how do I add additional columns (such as Size of Mail) to the Inbox?

I also wanted to switch back to the old version. -> Legacy Outlook. But after the switch I have to enter all email accounts again. However, when entering the account under IMAP, the "Next" button is highlighted in light grey and cannot be pressed. Email accounts can therefore not be entered.

Right?! AAAGH so frustrating I spend SOOOOO much time troubleshooting .... only way to get what I needed was wipe it and start over.... since I had recently wiped it, it wasn't as painful to wipe it again to start over.... there may be a clean Outlook uninstall somewhere ... really sucks.... good luck!

Seriously will impact my productivity. My IT guy said we have support till 2029, though! I hope that's correct. In the meantime, we all need to vote!

I dug into the details to get a better understanding. As Mary the Original posted, some of us will have the classic outlook until 2029. Here is what I think is happening:

    1. MS 365 users will have the classic outlook available until 2029
    2. Office 2019 and 2021 users may be able to run the current Outlook client until 2029 even though Office 2019 is End of Support in 2025. A download is available at one of the links below if you do not have it on your own media.
    3. Mac users may lose support in 2025, but it may work until 2026. I found less mac-specific information than windows but it appears the Mac version uses features in the Exchange servers that will be deprecated in 2026.

The details are not very clear and many articles are from the community sources (e.g. techcommunity.microsoft.com) and not official sources (e.g. support.microsoft.com). Here are the most useful links I found. Please do your own research and come to your own conclusions. YMMV
