New Outlook Layout - How do I add more columns (Size of Mail) to the inbox?

I am now using Outlook for Mac, version 16.79.3 (23120117) and am extremely surprised by the new layout, which is missing various information / settings.

For example, how do I add additional columns (such as Size of Mail) to the Inbox?

I also wanted to switch back to the old version. -> Legacy Outlook. But after the switch I have to enter all email accounts again. However, when entering the account under IMAP, the "Next" button is highlighted in light grey and cannot be pressed. Email accounts can therefore not be entered.

Cannot agree with you more. If you find a workaround, please let me know! I see that support for the good version of OL will end 10/14/25.

Probably worth adding your votes to these as well, as the one you've linked to has been logged under the classic Outlook category and not under 'Outlook (New)', so it might not get picked up as quickly.

It's ridiculous... it's like a 5 year old kid designed it or someone who only uses mail to send a note to their friends.... sorry think a 5 year old would probably design something better... wow just amazed this was approved to be deployed... I do a lot of multuiple volunteer work and this version just stops me from doing anything....

I had to wipe my PC and first I tried to use the New unfortunately then found it was useless and tried to get back to the old and error after error. I ended up wiping my PC again and installing classic version and that finally worked to just work with that...

    Blows my mind....
