New Outlook Layout - How do I add more columns (Size of Mail) to the inbox?

I am now using Outlook for Mac, version 16.79.3 (23120117) and am extremely surprised by the new layout, which is missing various information / settings.

For example, how do I add additional columns (such as Size of Mail) to the Inbox?

I also wanted to switch back to the old version. -> Legacy Outlook. But after the switch I have to enter all email accounts again. However, when entering the account under IMAP, the "Next" button is highlighted in light grey and cannot be pressed. Email accounts can therefore not be entered.

    AGREED!! Definitely a huge blunder on Microsoft's part.

    If I can't sort it the way I want to see it, then I'm switching back until they fix the issue. I want my Flagged items to appear at the top until I unflag them.

    Honestly, the lack of basic (in my opinion) features is disgusting.
    Admitting missing functionality... there is no way. When the time comes they will just impose this "reconsidered" product on us. We've seen this many times before.

    I found the solution to add the columns back in in the New Outlook

    Under View Settings > Layout > Message Height select "Switch between one and multiple rows based on screen size.

    This brings my columns back

    This is an excellent find, but doesn't allow the addition of new columns - which I think is what most are looking to do.

    And of course "New Outlook" has some traps for us - This only works with the reading pane to the right - if you have it to the bottom the option is greyed out (with no explanation as to why or how to enable it.
