New Outlook Layout - How do I add more columns (Size of Mail) to the inbox?

I am now using Outlook for Mac, version 16.79.3 (23120117) and am extremely surprised by the new layout, which is missing various information / settings.

For example, how do I add additional columns (such as Size of Mail) to the Inbox?

I also wanted to switch back to the old version. -> Legacy Outlook. But after the switch I have to enter all email accounts again. However, when entering the account under IMAP, the "Next" button is highlighted in light grey and cannot be pressed. Email accounts can therefore not be entered.

Please restore customizations. The included views are much harder to read that what I've configured in the "old" outlook. I will be switching back to the old version until the new version has the features that we've had for at least two decades.

The new Outlook for Windows, specifically regarding some features that are crucial to my workflow but are currently missing.

    1. Field Chooser: In the previous version of Outlook, I relied heavily on the Field Chooser to customize the columns in my inbox. This feature allowed me to add and view categories and other important fields. The absence of this functionality in the new version has significantly impacted my ability to organize and manage my emails efficiently.
    2. Categories as a Field: The ability to see categories as a field in my inbox is essential for my workflow. It helps me quickly identify and prioritize emails based on their categories. I would greatly appreciate it if this feature could be reintroduced.
    3. Full Number of Files in Folders: In the previous version, I could see the full number of files in my folders, which was a helpful indicator of my workload. This feature is missing in the new version, making it harder for me to gauge the volume of work at a glance.

These features are vital for my productivity, and their absence has been quite frustrating. I understand that updates and changes are necessary, but I hope these features can be reinstated or alternative solutions provided.

    Complete agree!

My use case is added due date of Flag for the Search flag email, so I can use it to clear what i have flagged for without copying it into a to do list.

The workaround is tha new outlook does have a "To Do" with a sgement on flagged emails - which does have due date. but its a click away to open up the full email instead of just scrolling in the to reading pane.

So i have a workaround but I don't understand why it doesn't allow.

I remain shocked that MS has not fixed this issue. I LOATHE the new interface for this one reason. It COMPLETELY screws up the way I work with my emails using categories and flags.
