I am now using Outlook for Mac, version 16.79.3 (23120117) and am extremely surprised by the new layout, which is missing various information / settings.
For example, how do I add additional columns (such as Size of Mail) to the Inbox?
I also wanted to switch back to the old version. -> Legacy Outlook. But after the switch I have to enter all email accounts again. However, when entering the account under IMAP, the "Next" button is highlighted in light grey and cannot be pressed. Email accounts can therefore not be entered.
Completely agree with the above. However, there are some nice new features in it, which should be added to the "old" version.
I do like some of the new features, but I cannot live without many of the old features. That is why I still choose Outlook over the many other excellent web-based interfaces already out there! IN fact, Outlook is the main reason I stay with the Office365 over alternatives!
For instance, Outlook has finally enabled a single view that combines the inboxes from multiple accounts. My Samsung phone has been doing that for ages, and I am desperate for it to be added to Outlook desktop.
However, if Outlook development (my subscription) is now going to be invested in the New Outlook, and Old Outlook is going to be run down, then I would be best to jump now and pay my subscription to other more holistic and cheaper suppliers.
Does anyone have the development roadmap for Outlook?
