New Outlook Layout - How do I add more columns (Size of Mail) to the inbox?

I am now using Outlook for Mac, version 16.79.3 (23120117) and am extremely surprised by the new layout, which is missing various information / settings.

For example, how do I add additional columns (such as Size of Mail) to the Inbox?

I also wanted to switch back to the old version. -> Legacy Outlook. But after the switch I have to enter all email accounts again. However, when entering the account under IMAP, the "Next" button is highlighted in light grey and cannot be pressed. Email accounts can therefore not be entered.

Exactly, programs are supposed to add features not send them backwards.

I don't understand. These are such basic "features" that I thought my outlook somehow reset the view settings and i have been spending 10 minutes looking through all the view settings and googling to find..... there is no such settings to add the basic columns of Attachments, To (Receiver), Size, Category, Flags.

    Like why??

Did the outlook project team even use this outlook to know how bad it is, that it doesn't even have these BASIC organizational customization?

I just said the same thing, and I would be swapping to Apple if they ever make it compulsory. I tried to use mums the other day because hers is on the new one, and I couldn’t swap back to the old version. Had no idea what I was doing, drafts emails don’t disappear. You can’t change the conversation view because it automatically goes back to conversation, it’s ridiculous.

I am with you. This new Outlook product is more than just disappointing.

Why does MS dictate what the users have to comply with, without even giving them to option to change things.

Also things like attaching files now requires going through the paper-clip symbol and no longer just right-clicking only.

Overall extremely disappointing "improvements" in this new version, from my point of view it is 5 steps backwards from where were with the old Outlook and not a step forwards.

Please MS, fix these bugs ASAP, otherwise man will change to Apple.

    Thank you
