New Outlook Layout - How do I add more columns (Size of Mail) to the inbox?

I am now using Outlook for Mac, version 16.79.3 (23120117) and am extremely surprised by the new layout, which is missing various information / settings.

For example, how do I add additional columns (such as Size of Mail) to the Inbox?

I also wanted to switch back to the old version. -> Legacy Outlook. But after the switch I have to enter all email accounts again. However, when entering the account under IMAP, the "Next" button is highlighted in light grey and cannot be pressed. Email accounts can therefore not be entered.

Post was from 2023, but it is still not solved in 2025? Amazing, just amazing. It is not just Mac, even Windows version. It almost like the new generation of developers never used the software they developed when even something considered basic in the past is not even present. They all just focus on refreshing the looks to be simpler on THEIR eyes

View Settings 3. From the View settings page, Select layout. On layout options, you can choose the way you want your inbox to be displayed.

    No, you can't.

Same here - the easy dialogue old Outlook had to add, delete, rearrange columns from my message list view is either gone - or difficult (as evidenced by the numerous people looking for it) to find.

SAME! Over a year later and this has not been addressed. Very disappointing.
