Using New Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
why would outlook have LESSER features than before. This makes no sense.

Hi.
I am currently using 'New Outlook'. Previously I was able to set a reminder/follow up on the email either before or after sending as a reminder to do so.
Sadly I cannot find it. Has it been omitted?
This was a very important tool, please reinstate this incredibly useful and productive feature.

I am also a big fan of the checkbox showing in my inbox to know that I have taken care of a email.
Fortunately, I am also a big fan of Microsoft To Do!
Any message that is flagged will show up in the Microsoft ToDo pane (or in the separate app). If I check the item as being done in Microsoft ToDo, it adds the check box to the message in my Inbox.
It's not as easy as browsing my in-box, but I am now spending more time in ToDo. Hope this helps others.
Hi,
This method worked really well until I got to the point where I am not being notified/alerted at the scheduled time/date.
I am wondering how the alert should appear on my screen, if you are able to help any further please?
Many thanks
Peter
Unfortunately, I can't. When I click on the flag, all I get is
Today
Tomorrow
This Week
Next Week
No Date.
It's as useful as a leaky teapot! I just want to set a reminder so that I can work efficiently and not waste bloody hours looking for answers. Constantly having to switch version is such a faff when I have to set lots of reminders.
Thanks for coming back and I feel your pain!!!
I'm just sticking with the tried and tested version.
