Email reminder and follow up in New Outlook missing

Hi.

I am currently using 'New Outlook'. Previously I was able to set a reminder/follow up on the email either before or after sending as a reminder to do so.

Sadly I cannot find it. Has it been omitted?

This was a very important tool, please reinstate this incredibly useful and productive feature.

New Outlook is pointless for organization or customization.

Cannot set reminders for when I need them.

Cannot customize external email servers from a local PC or server.

Cannot even avoid routing all my emails through Microsoft's Cloud.

Everyone who designed this version and all the management who implemented it should be fired.

I could not find this as a requested feature in the Feedback Portal to vote on, so I created an entry for it:

Return the ability to flag an email in the compose window · Community

I do not know if the new Outlook product management look at this portal, but an upvote on that request can't hurt.

yet another folder! What an incredible waste of time and interruption to work flow.

Actual pop-up reminders and setting custom dates and times is still a work in progress. For now however, you could create a "For Follow Up" Search folder to keep up with your flagged items.
