Using New Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
Ridiculous! Key feature and it was omitted!? I am going back to classic Outlook.

Hi.
I am currently using 'New Outlook'. Previously I was able to set a reminder/follow up on the email either before or after sending as a reminder to do so.
Sadly I cannot find it. Has it been omitted?
This was a very important tool, please reinstate this incredibly useful and productive feature.

Same question and the reply below is not helping me transition to new outlook, further i am unable to select a folder before sending for the sent email to be filed into.
It's going to be a Year.. when will the feature be implemented??????
This is a horrible change.
Dear all
I have discovered a way of overcoming this issue.
Once you've sent the email, right click the email within your inbox and scroll to the bottom to 'advanced actions'. There you can 'create task'. This sets a basic task without any reminders etc.
Once done, the task is shown in the 'To Do' column on the right. There you can right click and set custom reminders etc for any given task.
Hope this helps.
I really appreciate your suggestion. Thank you!
