Hi.
I am currently using 'New Outlook'. Previously I was able to set a reminder/follow up on the email either before or after sending as a reminder to do so.
Sadly I cannot find it. Has it been omitted?
This was a very important tool, please reinstate this incredibly useful and productive feature.

It is already the end of 2024 and there is no way to create a reminder directly from an email. So, what is up with you guys. No drag and drop and no reminders? This is such a shame and step backwards. Unbelievable.
I appreciate the work-around, though I hope Microsoft will get this feature implemented soon.
So I'm finding a lot of items in my "Flagged e-mail" section for which I'm pretty certain I had deleted the e-mail in question. Is it the case in the new Outlook that once an e-mail is flagged, a SEPARATE task is created and then you have to mark it complete to get rid of the task, even if you delete the original e-mail? If so, I hope that if the adding reminders to an e-mail functionality is ever reinstated, that will be fixed as well. It shouldn't require this many steps to get a reminder and then get rid of the task when it's completed.
I fully agree, I was a great featutre, Now it is so manual and difficult to do for similar apointments. Sets back productivity, ages.
Ridiculous. Not to mention setting reminders and others, which has already been raised.
This new Outlook is rubbish compared to the Old!! Way would you remove some of the greatest features is beyond me, even moving appointments round is harder, no more Ctrl and click to copy appoints across you have to open the appointment madness
come on MS sort yourself out!!
Any updates on this feature? We've been eagerly waiting for over a year now. This is an essential feature for Outlook, and we really need it!
