Adding a Send Delay to outgoing emails on the New Outlook

Hello!

On the "Old version" of Outlook, it was relatively straightforward to add a send delay of, for example, 1 minute to outgoing emails, where the email is automatically stored in "Outgoing messages" for 1 minute before it is sent to the recipient. During this time you could make any changes to the email - re-read it, check and correct potential typos, etc. This could be done via a custom rule.

However, in the "New Outlook", this functionality appears to be removed. I was able to find an option to "Undo Send" for 10 seconds after send-out, however, 10 seconds isn't a lot of time.

Is it possible to add a send-delay to outgoing email in the "New Outlook" or was this functionality removed from the software?

    Dear Libeamlak,

    The Outlook Classic delay send in the desire time setting of say 1 to 5mins is corporate friendly, it allows company to let new staffs to be certain or check prior sending. The New Outlook 10secs max is more for personal/family friendly and not so favourable for Business.

    Hi Libeamlak,

    Can you give the community an update on the Product Dev Team progress regarding this issue?

    Strange that such an important feature is not added back after a full year of the community asking for it.

    Moving back to classic until this is fixed.
