Adding a Send Delay to outgoing emails on the New Outlook

Hello!

On the "Old version" of Outlook, it was relatively straightforward to add a send delay of, for example, 1 minute to outgoing emails, where the email is automatically stored in "Outgoing messages" for 1 minute before it is sent to the recipient. During this time you could make any changes to the email - re-read it, check and correct potential typos, etc. This could be done via a custom rule.

However, in the "New Outlook", this functionality appears to be removed. I was able to find an option to "Undo Send" for 10 seconds after send-out, however, 10 seconds isn't a lot of time.

Is it possible to add a send-delay to outgoing email in the "New Outlook" or was this functionality removed from the software?

I will not change to me Outlook until this feature is introduced. If it is not introduced and old z Outlook is phased out ... I will change my email programe. The delay feature is absolutely essential

I have previously tested 'new' Outlook, and reverted to the older version again for multiple reasons, this thread being just one of them.

Unfortunately, the company IT team had to remove Office entirely and reinstall in order to fix a recurring bug, and I now have no ability revert to the older version.

As a warning however, not only is the delay email sending function not available in 'new' Outlook, it simply deletes the rule(s) using it and doesn't give any indication that it has done so.

So you can end up thinking it's still in place, and working, until after the point where you 'needed it in place'; not something I've directly experienced thankfully, but still sub-optimal to say the least.

    Any update on this ?

Would be great if this is added, or I will switch back to old outlook.

Its been a year this question has been added, sad there is no resolution until now.
