Adding a Send Delay to outgoing emails on the New Outlook

Hello!

On the "Old version" of Outlook, it was relatively straightforward to add a send delay of, for example, 1 minute to outgoing emails, where the email is automatically stored in "Outgoing messages" for 1 minute before it is sent to the recipient. During this time you could make any changes to the email - re-read it, check and correct potential typos, etc. This could be done via a custom rule.

However, in the "New Outlook", this functionality appears to be removed. I was able to find an option to "Undo Send" for 10 seconds after send-out, however, 10 seconds isn't a lot of time.

Is it possible to add a send-delay to outgoing email in the "New Outlook" or was this functionality removed from the software?

    Im on version 1.2024.916.200 (Production), so still don't have any option in the new outlook called "Apply rule on messages I send". What version are you on?

    Where can I find this information?

    In the About section it says Version 2407 Build 16.0.17830.20166 but I'm not sure that ties in?

    Wow ... that simple. I will try it. Great suggestion

    Exactly what I thought - it is possible that this won't meet some user's requirements as I am not sure if it will work with mailboxes and/or automations/add ins etc.

    Also should note that it may not be reflected in OWA or if sending emails from a mobile device.
