Upgrading to new outlook will not accept IMAP accounts

Hi there,

The only solution I can think of in this situation is to use a 3rd party app, Thunderbird, from Mozilla. It works perfectly with IMAP accounts. This will work until such time as the new Outlook is fully compatible with IMAP.

As of now, they're claiming to accept IMAP accounts.

HOWEVER it's not working, even though I double and triple checked all account info 😡

One step ahead, two steps backwards it seems. MS and their customer service. Awful.

I have 2 IMAP accounts working, they set up without a problem. Now while trying to add a 3rd the continue button is greyed out for me. It seems to me that IMAP is working. I don't understand why i would not be able to add a 3rd if i already have 2 accounts working fine.
What am i missing?

(And yes, i have tried filling in all the required server information manually. This 3rd account is on the same mailserver as the other 2 accounts)

Hi, mine now works with the IMAP account again! However, you either accept adverts, or you have to pay a subscription for it...
