"New Outlook" does not have the read aloud function when you are composing/writing emails (the feature is only available to read emails you have already received or sent). This is a huge miss and a disservice to Microsoft's customers, especially those with disabilities. Numerous folks are complaining about the lack of the read aloud feature in this thread Microsoft Read Aloud for New Outlook - Microsoft Community. Can Microsoft please respond and provide a timeline for when the Read Aloud function will be available when users are composing/drafting emails? Thank you.

Please bring back this feature in Microsoft Outlook 365.
Temporary solution I am currently using. You can use the Magnifier application in windows to read text.
I am sitting here at a loss for words!
How are we living in a digital age when Microsoft still hasn't added this function back? It is very disappointing, especially for those who rely on this tool. They should really consider resolving this.

I agree, and just check again now to see if the read-aloud function has been added in the new outlook, but sad to see it has not, it is still not available when you write a new email and wish to have it read before sending, it's only available for reading emails you receive. I really do not understand the delay in adding this most important tool.
I agree with your statement. I also have dyslexia and heavily rely on the text-to-speech functionality in many applications. It's similar to someone needing a wheelchair to get around.
