This morning Outlook updated and I noticed there is a new search bar to search apps, how may I remove this bar?

I do not use apps, do not want to use apps and have no need to search for them.

If this is related to MS Team and conjoining everything, I still want to remove this app search bar in Outlook.

Please help.

Thank you!

    Stefan,

    Please do not interpret my comment to you (thank you by the way for the fix)...it is to Microsoft;

    If Microsoft caused this...why am I paying my IT people to fix this?

    Fix it Microsoft!

    JJ

    Has anyone found a working resolution for this issue? The options that I have been seeing are not available in the version I am using which is Microsoft® Outlook® 2016 MSO (Version 2401 Build 16.0.17231.20194) 64-bit

    I found a resolution finally!!!

    To install the update immediately select FileOffice AccountUpdate OptionsUpdate Now.
