This morning Outlook updated and I noticed there is a new search bar to search apps, how may I remove this bar?

I do not use apps, do not want to use apps and have no need to search for them.

If this is related to MS Team and conjoining everything, I still want to remove this app search bar in Outlook.

Please help.

Thank you!

This is crazy. I don't even know what "search by apps" means, and all I do know is that I can barely see the search bar that I use frequently on a daily basis. That's what I get for restarting my laptop for the first time in a few days!

Thank you to the people on here who have suggested fixes t this. I don't particularly want to roll back the update and remove auto updates, but I guess this may be the only option.

I'm a fan of progress and I don't mind change - but I feel that many tweaks that Microsoft make to Outlook just make it more annoying to use!
