This morning Outlook updated and I noticed there is a new search bar to search apps, how may I remove this bar?

I do not use apps, do not want to use apps and have no need to search for them.

If this is related to MS Team and conjoining everything, I still want to remove this app search bar in Outlook.

Please help.

Thank you!

I, apparently along with a large segment of the population, are having the same issue. Given how much I need to search e-mails (constantly), this is maddening! I cannot see what I'm typing in the search field. I have not seen a solution given for those of us with the same "Options" screen. How do we get resolution?????

This does not resolve the issue - is there a solution yet?

This app bar takes up so much space you can't use the search email as easily unless you widen top but then you lose preview.

Nothing here shows how to remove which tells me it's a Microsoft update they don't know how to remove/fix as everything i've looked at under options (including Advanced) doesn't seem to have a deselect box.

Anyone have a solution as Microsoft just keeps asking what version do you have even though we're all having the same issue
