Outlook unexpectedly has an App Search bar above the message list
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
This morning Outlook updated and I noticed there is a new search bar to search apps, how may I remove this bar?
I do not use apps, do not want to use apps and have no need to search for them.
If this is related to MS Team and conjoining everything, I still want to remove this app search bar in Outlook.
Please help.
Thank you!

Try updating your Office installation (File > Account > Update Options > Update Now).
The bug should be fixed; see https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/outlook-unexpectedly-has-an-app-search-bar-above-the-message-list-c1bed629-0d4e-42d4-b66e-877cccb74b47.
I have the same problem. Very frustrating as I can find people asking how to remove the app search bar and no-one giving clear answers. I am also running office 2019. Thanks Sue
I have the same issue. I want to remove this box but I don't have the All folders option to uncheck? My screen looks the same as the attachment above. The App Search box is extremely annoying and I don't want it there!
I have this issue too
