This morning Outlook updated and I noticed there is a new search bar to search apps, how may I remove this bar?

I do not use apps, do not want to use apps and have no need to search for them.

If this is related to MS Team and conjoining everything, I still want to remove this app search bar in Outlook.

Please help.

Thank you!

I have the same issue. I tried the suggestion above, but the "Sources" Section in my version 2016 doesn't exist as described above. How do I remove the App Search from Outlook Desktop Version 2016? I really don't want it. It blocks the other search inputs!

How can I get rid of it?
