This morning Outlook updated and I noticed there is a new search bar to search apps, how may I remove this bar?

I do not use apps, do not want to use apps and have no need to search for them.

If this is related to MS Team and conjoining everything, I still want to remove this app search bar in Outlook.

Please help.

Thank you!

I found a get around. It may not be what everyone is wanting which is for this garbage search app bar to be gone, but it will extend the search bar. You will also not see the email to the right in the pane. It will only be a single column of your emails in that specific folder. If you are searching in a specific folder you will need to do this again. I specifically do this for my inbox so emails do not open due to the amount spam bs these days. Click on View, select Reading Pane, select Off.
