Using Classic Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management

Outlook unexpectedly has an App Search bar above the message list
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
This morning Outlook updated and I noticed there is a new search bar to search apps, how may I remove this bar?
I do not use apps, do not want to use apps and have no need to search for them.
If this is related to MS Team and conjoining everything, I still want to remove this app search bar in Outlook.
Please help.
Thank you!

Try updating your Office installation (File > Account > Update Options > Update Now).
The bug should be fixed; see https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/outlook-unexpectedly-has-an-app-search-bar-above-the-message-list-c1bed629-0d4e-42d4-b66e-877cccb74b47.
This workaround is useless as it reverts to a previous version of Outlook.
The App Search bar will return with the next update and then you will once again have to revert to two prior versions.
Thanks, worked for me
Thank you!! This does work! The annoying bar is gone! :)
Completing the "UP Date" did Removed that issue. I wish that Microsoft would not decide to "Help You" when Not asked. We receive enough of that from the powers elected with out having tools you use for work being messed with.. Off my soap box for now. I have been impressed with All of the people who responded to my issue and appreciative, I hope Microsoft takes it to heart.
