This morning Outlook updated and I noticed there is a new search bar to search apps, how may I remove this bar?

I do not use apps, do not want to use apps and have no need to search for them.

If this is related to MS Team and conjoining everything, I still want to remove this app search bar in Outlook.

Please help.

Thank you!

That is not a solution for me, though I appreciate your response. I am not going to uninstall and reinstall my entire office suite becuase Microsoft put something there that I want no part of.

Thanks for the help, but this is does not work for me, as I had none of the extra stuff installed anyway (no version of 365). I only have Office Professional 2016. I also not sure where the installation files are afters so long and feel it's a bit rich for MS to expect a customer to entirely uninstall a product to resolve a glitch of their making. But thanks for trying to help, amidst all the customers asking for exactly the same help and no solution (so far) being offered by the MS software developers who have caused this problem.
