This morning Outlook updated and I noticed there is a new search bar to search apps, how may I remove this bar?

I do not use apps, do not want to use apps and have no need to search for them.

If this is related to MS Team and conjoining everything, I still want to remove this app search bar in Outlook.

Please help.

Thank you!

Has anyone found a working resolution for this issue? The options that I have been seeing are not available in the version I am using which is Microsoft® Outlook® 2016 MSO (Version 2401 Build 16.0.17231.20194) 64-bit

    I found a resolution finally!!!

    I've found this video.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M14AJHl6MJc&t=7s
    you
have to open cmd and paste this line:

    cd %programfiles%\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\ClickToRun

and press enter button, this will situate cmd in this directory,

    then paste this line:

    thisofficec2rclient.exe /update user updatetoversion=16.0.17126.20132

and press enter button , this will update your software to the specified version, and will not longer show the annoying app search bar.
