This morning Outlook updated and I noticed there is a new search bar to search apps, how may I remove this bar?

I do not use apps, do not want to use apps and have no need to search for them.

If this is related to MS Team and conjoining everything, I still want to remove this app search bar in Outlook.

Please help.

Thank you!

Incredibly annoying! Absolute pain..I am not interested in using apps, I don't want apps!It

is rediculous that in this day and age we forced to fit in the same box whether we like it or not! Surely we should have control of what product we want to use and how we use it! I don't want to have to roll back to the preivous version - I want to be able to chose what I use and how I use it!

I am having this same issue with the "App Search Bar" appearing with the latest update. I am running classic Outlook 2019 MSO version 2401 (Build 16.0.17231.20170). I've tried following the steps outlined in above, but I don't have an "all folders" option under "Sources" in Options-->Search as described and unchecking "Show results as I type" did not remove the app search bar.

you can Run Commmond with administrator And paste this on commond Prompt it will work

    “C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\ClickToRun\OfficeC2RClient.exe” /update user updatetoversion=16.0.17029.20108
