Hello Microsoft Community. I've seen various versions of this bug around and it seems to not be getting resolved. It would be great if others could simulate my use case for this bug and confirm it's not just me - as well as pose a solution or help me get Microsoft to address it!

In fairness to Microsoft customers this should never have been forced on us in the first place! We are not Beta testers for their half baked products. Those of us who used Windows Mail will know that it took many updates and bug fixes before that was working properly but at least it got fixed, eventually! The option to roll back to Mail is a pointless exercise, it doesn't work! I've done it several times and at next launch of Mail it forces this horrible Outlook rubbish on me! It's not just this bug that's so frustrating, I've sent a list of several issues that haven't been fixed, this product should never have been rolled out in this state.
For the love of god Microsoft, please listen to your customers, stop forcing buggy software on us, not everyone wants Outlook, myself included. Give me an option to permanently go back to Mail until such time that you have fixed your bugs.
Hello all,
Has this issue been resolved as of August 2024?
Nope. It's been going on for awhile. Still no resolution. Had issues with it today.
both cases I've seen, happen to be using MacBook's. Unsure if this correlates with anyone else's experiences.
