Hi,

I was wondering why my tasks from Planner show up in my ToDo app fine. But in outlook they do not show up.

Please see the My Day in ToDo:

Now in outlook it is like this:

I also Tried the web version:

Would be really useful for this to flow through and I think it should.

Ah! That's a great point. Since I only use the desktop app and never the browser, this is not something that's come up for me. Looks like it still needs to be addressed then.

As a work around, you can select an item from your "Assigned to me" list and choose "Add to My Day", then drag it into your calendar from there. I don't understand why it's not included in the tab though.

Good idea for a work around but unfortunately the the task does not show up in the My Day view in the calendar to do bar (even though it does show up in the To Do app). It seems like Planner tasks will not show up in the web to do bar at all.

It is a real pity because the work flow of having a centralised place for tasks either added manually, flagged emails, or assigned tasks from Planner, then dragging tasks to the calendar to allocate time to work on them is great. But if you don't have the centralised pool of tasks to draw from, it loses its appeal very fast.

All I want is a single calendar view of my tasks (from MS Tasks, MS Todo, Planner, Project, Loop, any other tool MS has which assigns work or actions) and Outlook calendar so I can keep on top of my work

This! Is that too much to ask?

I want to specifically add MS Office [@mention assignments] to your list as well. I love the feature, but it's the same thing as with any of these disconnected methods; some things inevitably end up falling through the cracks for 90% of my team if we allow them to use these cool features. Using these task features needs to be a productivity tool, not a SuperUser hobby. :)

I'm happy that this thread has sparked to life again lately. Let's keep it going - hopefully someone that is in a position to make a difference will hear all of our wheels squeaking!
