I am trying to copy and paste from one email to another and outlook will not keep the format. This is the new outlook app so there is no File tab like suggested in every other answer.

I'm not finding the "^ below the top right paste icon" that you mentioned.
Are you able to send a screenshot or describe in more detail where to find that? For example, is it in the new email you're composing or is it in the email you're looking to copy from?

This solved the issue! Click the ^ below the top right paste icon and then "set default paste" then in "Cut, Copyt, and Paste" set settings to "keep source formatting".

This is horrible that it does not give you the option when you paste.
Right after you paste text, a small "Ctrl" icon box will pop up below the text you pasted.
Once you click on the "Ctrl" icon, the other icon will appear. Clicking on the first box saves formatting.
where do You find this icon? I can get to find it...
