I am trying to copy and paste from one email to another and outlook will not keep the format. This is the new outlook app so there is no File tab like suggested in every other answer.

I don't understand why Microsoft can't fix it as it was working good for so many years...

In Outlook, click Paste on the toolbar, then go to the "Cut, copy, paste" section and change the respective dropdowns to "Keep source formatting".

I had sent an example in one of my posts. I have a daily email I create.  Someone had posted a solution which I use.If you copy the text and open a new email, then choose the middle symbol below, your copied text, etc., will paste with the formatting intact in the new email. I haven't tried it in MS Word, but it also may work in that program.
