I am trying to copy and paste from one email to another and outlook will not keep the format. This is the new outlook app so there is no File tab like suggested in every other answer.

Still does not do what I can do on old Outlook where pasting is concerned. Copying from Excel, for example, format still changes when pasted into new Outlook, even with this little "CTRL" option selection.
Come on Microsoft. This is your own suite of products! PLS FIX THIS ISSUE!!!!
omg I HAVE THE SOLUTION!!!!!
When you copy and then paste, at the bottom of the pasted material there is a very tiny box. Hover over that and choose the left (1st of 3) icon. It's a clipboard icon and it says (Ctrl).
My coworker showed me this and IT WORKED!!
Thanks David, you just helped me save so much time.
Microsoft should make the box more noticeable.
I had this same issue. If you copy the text and select the paste tool in the top left text ribbon at the top of the screen, it will paste your text in the colors and format that it was copied in.
