Need to create a pst file and upload a previously created pst file into outlook. This was an effortless exercise in classic outlook with readily available option in File menu. How do I get to that functionality in the new outlook.

The New Outlook has caused us to loose the File tab and then the option to have .pst files in Outlook. This is extremely problematic. I work for a large City and we are required to keep all emails in specific .pst files for every single project. We also need to access the past projects and those emails sometimes many years in the past.
I hope that someone is trying to work on a solution because this is very bad not having this ability.
I am very frustrated with the current changes to outlook. It has become on useable for tracking emails for each of my many projects that could have well over a 1,000 emails or more per project.
Sadly, I think the solution is to take our business elsewhere....
Not a fan, but Google 'office' suite is starting to look good by comparison.
Given that it would be useful and smart, and Microsoft's approach to date..... I doubt that it will be.
Yeah, so happy I PAID for the upgrade....
