How can I mount a data file (pst) in new outlook. In the classic version this is doable through the File menu which is not available in new outlook.

Need to create a pst file and upload a previously created pst file into outlook. This was an effortless exercise in classic outlook with readily available option in File menu. How do I get to that functionality in the new outlook.

Same problem. Using Office 365. New Outlook spontaneously took over this morning and original Outlook is no longer in my apps. I have critical .pst files that I use daily that I can no longer access. How can I revert back to original Outlook when a) the toggle is broken in new outlook and b) original outlook is not an option in the start menu? Or is there some way to access .pst files from new Outlook? I am still in shock this happened with NO warning or action on my part. MSFT's own information says original Outlook is supported through 2024! Any help appreciated.

New Outlook does NOT have "FILE".

Please go not give answers that are NOT possible!

How do we actually import PST file contents into new outlook. and don't say "Import", the option does NOT exist.

The "new" Outlook is ABSOLUTE GARBAGE!!! I also reverted back to the old, tried and true Outlook, which can read PST files.

Microsoft Development needs to GROW UP and GO BACK TO SCHOOL.

    SHEESH!

Concur with everyone's feedback on the 'new' outlook.

Fortunately I was able to turn off the new Outlook and it reverted to the old version with my .pst file/s were intact and re-enabled.

I'm truly at a loss as to why so many features were removed from this new and improved (sic) version! E.g. I was amazed that conditional formatting was no longer available when this was a fundamental feature in the rules section - I had it configured to help me quickly identify urgent / critical emails by colour. (what I had to read/action urgently vs. general info).

    What a cluster....
