How can I mount a data file (pst) in new outlook. In the classic version this is doable through the File menu which is not available in new outlook.

Need to create a pst file and upload a previously created pst file into outlook. This was an effortless exercise in classic outlook with readily available option in File menu. How do I get to that functionality in the new outlook.

Correct - there is no solution to this problem in "new" Outlook. The options at this point are to revert to classic outlook so you can mount .pst files or lose access to them with new outlook. Hoping Microsoft is paying attention and will figure out how to make .pst's accessible in the newer version or scrap it altogether!

Hi, I'm confused by this reply. It seems to simply explain how to open a PST file in the old version of Outlook. For those of us who have messages archived in PST files, but want to start using the new version of Outlook, are you saying that there isn't a solution at this time?

This is why I am not switching to the new Outlook until they fix this big problem.

Perhaps I spoke too soon, most of the functions in classic mode have been removed and it scrambles the inbox data. MicroSoft have done a good one on us users with this upgrade!
