How can I mount a data file (pst) in new outlook. In the classic version this is doable through the File menu which is not available in new outlook.

Need to create a pst file and upload a previously created pst file into outlook. This was an effortless exercise in classic outlook with readily available option in File menu. How do I get to that functionality in the new outlook.

    Thanks for the reply. In Settings, I have the following options:

    • Language and time
    • Appearance
    • Notifications
    • Accessibility
    • Privacy and data
    • Search
    • Offline
    • Start up
    • About Outlook

    There's no option for Outlook Data Files. I checked in Privacy and data, and it's not in there.

    Can you send me a screenshot?

    The version I'm using is:

    You have Microsoft Outlook Version 1.2024.1124.100 (Production). Client Version is 20241115003.34.WebView2 Version is 131.0.2903.86.

    **Note:**Calendar, Contacts, and Tasks data saved in .pst files will not be accessible in this version. Future releases of new Outlook will expand the support for .pst file capabilities.

    IT is the contacts I need access to, so... I'll wait.

    Hello,

    Thanks, they are being showed for a while in the folders. However, even having Outlook 365 is saying that we do not have it...

    Still non functional...

    To add PST on the new Outlook version

    1. Settings
    2. General
    3. Outlook Data Files
    4. Add file

    Then you are good to go.
