My outlook is stuck on the new version. How to go back to classic version?

My email does not have the toggle option in the top right corner to get the classic outlook back. There is no longer the old outlook in the store either. I have also tried the steps in registry editor and that didn’t work out either.

Installing Outlook New does nothing to an installed Outlook Classic, both will co-exist and run at the same time, so if Classic was installed, it should still be there. Do you have both Icons in your Start menu?

Alternatively, do you find OUTLOOK.EXE under this path on your HD - C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\root\Office16? Did you originally purchase an Office suite that included Outlook Classic, or do you have a current Office subscription (these are normally how you get Outlook CLassic).

    Sirs,

Due to problems, I had to 'reset' my desktop PC. However, this has deleted my old Outlook mail app icon, i.e. not in start menu or apps and features, with only the new Outlook app icon showing as available. I have never logged into the new app, and want the old app back. How can I achieve this?

P.S. My Registry does not have the path you outlined above.

    Many thanks.

When I type in 'Registry Editor' it takes me to a 'Geek' site - NOT Microsoft - which has heaps of advertising and download stuff anf which I don't feel safe using. This is incredibly frustrating that I can't send emails anymore! When I opened the Classic Outlook all I got was an empty shell, no accounts setup and no emails. This is so infuriating.
