My email does not have the toggle option in the top right corner to get the classic outlook back. There is no longer the old outlook in the store either. I have also tried the steps in registry editor and that didn’t work out either.

Outlook | Windows | New Outlook for Windows | For home

If you go on youtube, search up Timbo Tube Outlook Guide, there you will find my short and simply guide that gets you back to the old Mail/calendar app. It is not the Outlook app from Office, just to clarify. It is for the basic Mail/calendar app that most people use day to day.

If this is what you seek, my video is just over 3 minutes long and only a few simple steps. It will save you tons of time and headaches.

I hope it helps, and that this message finds you. My channel is very small, and I do not put any effort into promoting it, so I would much appreciate your support in the form of a subscription, if it does help you. No obligations, and I hope it helps you, regardless.

I'm not sure if you were originally using the actual outlook program from Office, because most basic users are under the impression that the old Mail program was Outlook, but it was not. If you go back to this old mail program, you can link any of your emails, and it should even have your old data. I can't guarantee it, but I think it will.

It's obvious that Microsoft doesn't care that their "new & improved" version stinks so I'll just go to Walgreens and buy a Calendar and a pen. And that's from someone who has a fair number of their shares--for now.

To switch from the new Outlook back to the classic version of Outlook, click the gear icon at the top right of the window. Then go to General. Go to About Outlook. From there you will have the option to go back to the old version of Mail. Even thought it says that you are going to the old version of the Mail app, it will also switch your Outlook back to the classic version. It will warn you that Windows Mail is being replaced with Outlook in the future, if you go to the old version of the Mail app, that will switch your Outlook back to the classic version.
