Using New Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
Hi I have the same issue as Kasey, except when I get to the last folder called "Outlook" there is no "preferences" as per my screenshot below.

My email does not have the toggle option in the top right corner to get the classic outlook back. There is no longer the old outlook in the store either. I have also tried the steps in registry editor and that didn’t work out either.

Install or reinstall classic Outlook on a Windows PC - Microsoft Support
GO BACK TO THE OLD OUTLOOK.
I was able to complete steps 1 - 3. I am unable to complete step 4, as there is no UseNewOutlook, to select. I urgently need to revert back to the classic version of outlook. I am quite frustrated that I was unable to open Classic Outlook and that I was forced into this horrid new version of Outlook, which feels like a cheap version of Gmail. I am missing critical folders with data I need to be able to retrieve. I have 2 Outlooks, neither have "classic" or "new" as a tag.
